2. Apply the marketing mix, including product, price, distribution, and integrated marketing communications to create value for a product or service.
3. Identify opportunities and challenges associated with sustainable marketing business practices.
Instructions
You have been asked by your Manager at M1 Consulting Inc. to combine everything you have done into a single, integrated marketing report (business strategy evaluation; persona development and positioning map;and marketing research & data analysis design).
The format of your analysis can be one of three forms. It is your choice:
- Traditional report written in full paragraphs and sentences (no more than 15-20 pages)
- Video with references included (no longer than 15-20 minutes)
- Audio with accompanying notes and references (no longer than 15-20 minutes)
This final assignment is worth 35% of your final grade: it is the equivalent of a Final Exam. Keep this in mind, as its weight indicates the amount of effort you should put into it.
If you've been diligent with your previous assignments, this won't be burdensome.
If you've had challenges, you have your work cut out for you!
Here's what you need to do:
Use your previous reports and combine them.Review comments from me on your files:I will be checking to see if you have incorporated this feedback.
In addition, and this is key for a high grade: Think carefully and write critically, the "Conclusions and Reflections" section (more on this below).
I will be reviewing (and marking!) this final assignment as a "stand alone" report: Pretend your M1 Consulting Manager has never read the previous assignments/reports.
It is therefore your opportunity, and responsibility, to:
- Improve your previous assignment materials as you see fit, based on my previous comments (note that 15 points of the assignment mark are based on this),and your own research and critical analysis.
- Integrate these materials into a coherent report: You need to streamline these previously distinct pieces of work into one reportthat "flows" well.
- Be Professional: Format, format, format! Headings, paragraph structure, spelling, grammar, proper citations.
Your report should contain the following sections, at minimum:
1. A Title Page to include the name of the company, and your name, your instructor's name, and the date (not included in page count)
2. Introduction, approximately ½ to 1 page
Written or described in complete paragraph format, provide a brief introduction to the plan.
3. Business Strategy Evaluation
Add the business strategy evaluation you did in Assignment #1 at the end of Module 02. Be sure to transition smoothly from your introduction.
4. Persona Development and Positioning Map

6. Ethical and Sustainability Considerations, approximately ½ a page

7. Conclusions and Reflections, approximately 1 page
• Based on what you have reported, what conclusions can you draw? What recommendations do you need to communicate to management?
• What reflections do you have on the process? What is the one most valuable thing you have learned in the process or what do you think you can take from the course with you? What are you still confused about or wish you had learned?
8. References/Bibliography - final page (not included in page count)
• List all references used, including publications and websites.
