Give one example of common sense moral principle that everyone would agree to. Apply the same moral principle to activities of corporations. In other words, from common sense point of view, what is permissible or impermissible for corporations to do? Example: It is wrong to tell a known falsehood. I think every rational person would agree to the principle, since nobody wants to be deceived with a falsehood. Therefore, corporations should not deceive their shareholders, employees, customers, and general members of the public. Of course, you can see that laws frequently back up common sense moral principles. Hence, we have laws that prohibit deceitful advertising, fraud, etc.
