Write a four- to six-page research paper for the final. In order to the write paper, you must screen (outside of class) the additional, assigned film. The movies are: "Apocalypse Now (Theatrical Cut)" and "Apocalypse Now Redux"

The paper should consist of three parts:

1. Research and contextualize the film in terms of its historical significance in cinema, and describe the conditions (aesthetic, economic, etc.) that led to a different version of the film.

2. Compare and contrast the two versions of the film.

3. Discuss which version you consider to be more "artistic" and why.
