Summary This individual assignment consists of analyzing and discussing a journal article and its idea(s), published within last 4 yeas, of your choice from only
• International Journal of Research in Marketing
• International Marketing Review
• Journal of International Marketing

Your review must include: (1) an introductory part including objective(s) of the journal article, theory, hypotheses, methodology used to test the hypotheses, results and recommendations for international managers; more importantly (2) your critical analysis/evaluation by answering: What is your assessment of the ideas suggested by the author using your own knowledge and experience to justify your position? Do you agree or disagree with the arguments given? What are the strengths and weaknesses of the arguments presented?; and (3) concluding paragraph briefly summarizing your position on the value, accuracy and relevance of the article.

The Clarity of argument while having a focused, concise presentation is important in this assignment. Please do not choose an article that does not have hypotheses or propositions. You need to submit both the original article and your review at MyUCW dropbox until week 5 on Sunday at 10 Pm. Failure to submit reviw on due date will result in zero mark unless a medical note is provided. The fact that you need to work, have travel plans, or have too many tests/presentations/exams is not a valid reason. Your review must include academic journal citations. Please note that you will get a C if you (1) do not take an article from the journals mentioned on this page; (2) do not discuss/show the theory on which the article is based; (3) do not have your critical analysis and evaluation; (4) base your presentation on a brand name, company, country, specific product, specific industry, case study; and (5) Do not choose an article which does not have an explicit theory.
