As a rising photographer who has recently been recognized for several impactful images, why might you explore copyright protection? Consider and explain what it would offer and what, if any, limitations that you should be aware of. Finally, address how this differs from "exclusive rights" and which might be the most applicable in regard to the images you've been recognized for?
You are preparing for a debate in your debate class. The topic is "fair use" and "fair dealing" when it comes to creative works of art and whether this concept is enough to protect artists. You do not yet know which side of debate you will be arguing, so you must prepare for both. Analyze these concepts and provide insight for the belief that fair use and fair dealing are explicit enough to protect an artist's work as well as for the belief that they aren't enough to protect an artist's work.
