Requirements: Analyze two transactional websites (B2C and C2C) in 8-10 double-spaced pages

Instructions
1. Choose two transactional websites to analyze:
• a B2C site (a business that sells products-goods or services-directly to consumers, e.g., Amazon.ca) and
• a C2C site (where consumers sell products to other consumers, e.g., eBay.ca).
• You must select two different sites, even if one or the other (or both) does both B2C and C2C transactions.

2. Analyze and critique each site separately, following the guidelines below.
Describe the site: What type of website is this (e.g., information, sales, portal, cybermediary, etc.)? What goods or services are sold on the site? What type of pricing is being used? How are the goods and services distributed? Based on the format of the site, what goods and services have the highest priority for promotion?
Target market: Who is the intended target market for the goods and/or services on this site? Be as specific as possible in describing the target market.

Strengths and weaknesses: Describe all the good features or strengths of this site. Provide support for your answer with material from the course (cite your sources). Next, analyze the weaknesses of the site. Is it easy to navigate? Is important information easy to access? Again, back up your analysis with information from the course (cite your sources).

Recommendations for improvement: Based on your analysis, what are your recommendations for improving this site? Your recommendations may include suggestions for site layout, website purpose, and the company's business model (etc.). Is the company targeting the right market segment(s)? What related goods/services (if any) should it expand to include? What other target markets may exist for its goods/services? Again, use information from the course to support your ideas (cite your sources).
Assignment presentation (format, spelling, grammar, references): Your analysis should be well-written, well-organized, and presented in sections with headings. Include a title page and a Reference list (use APA Style). You are encouraged to visit AU's Write Site for writing assistance and the correct use of APA Style.
