Case Study: Today's globally competitive business environment has caused many U.S. businesses to reduce the value of their employee benefit packages. Globalization presents advantages and disadvantages when it comes to creating a well-rounded compensation plan to motivate and engage. Management and human resources must take the time to plan and analyze the market and employees to ensure a compensation program that is effective for the organization. Examine how an organization can maintain its costly benefit structure while remaining competitive against countries whose companies do not offer such benefits.
