Explain why you think the January 6, 2021 Capitol event should or should not be labelled terrorism when applying the Academic Consensus Definition of terrorism to the event.

After you have reviewed the news coverage surrounding the event, write essay that answers the following questions:

Do you think this incident should be labelled terrorism when looking at the Academic Consensus Definition of terrorism by Alex Schmid? Would you use the terms 'terrorist' and 'terrorism' in regard to the perpetrators and the incident?
Explain which elements of the Academic Consensus Definition are most relevant.
Explain which elements of the Academic Consensus Definition do not correspond to the event at all.
