Innovation, change and leadership have been key areas of research in the context of change management. A set of leadership competencies has also been identified which includes capabilities of active listening, communication, persuasion, conflict management and influence. The key leadership practices, namely: shaping behavior, framing change and creating capacity, indicating the linkages between the level of understanding about nature of change and acceptance of such transformation.Critically review the various theories of innovation and change, like leadership of innovation and change. Provide an evaluation of one successful and one less successful innovation / change of which you have personal experience, related to relevant theory. Give a reflective assessment on your own performance as a leader of innovation and change, which identifies your strengths and weaknesses.
