This assignment explains the option strategy used in stock market for hedging. The stock prices in different market conditions have been mapped against a particular exercise price (X) to analyse the profit and loss from option strategy. Clearly, while there is no limit to the profit, the losses are limited to the amount of premium paid. Therefore, unlike other speculation strategies, option pricing gives an edge when it comes to the losses in unfavourable situations as only the premium shall constitute the amount of loss.
