Assignment:

Analyze the Openness/Restrictiveness of Trade and Foreign Investment opportunities in Argentina as well as China

Using available data, from multiple sources, provide a comprehensive assessment of the economy's relative openness to trade, and FDI with special attention paid to the food industry. Make an assessment of tariff levels, and non-tariff measures present. More generally, draw conclusions supported by data (both qualitative and quantitative) about the general acceptance of foreign enterprises. For example, would the economy be a good place to sell products manufactured in another economy? Would it be welcoming of foreign firms entering and setting up manufacturing and/or retail operations to both sell into the domestic market and/or export to other markets?
