Question: You will submit the Needs Assessment portion of your training project for my evaluation and review. You will then have the opportunity to revise, if needed, the Needs Assessment portion of the project before submitting the final project.
Needs Assessment Plan
Analyze the needs of the individuals who will attend this training session. Needs assessment requires evidence of a performance discrepancy in relation to the desired behavior resulting from a lack of skill or knowledge. Needs assessment also strives to determine what skills the individuals already possess.
Needs assessment focuses on the organization seeking to identify why the organization could use your plan and the weaknesses of the organization currently.
Develop 8-12 questions that could be included in a survey administered to trainees prior to the training session to determine needs. You are primarily trying to identify through the survey what the participants know and do not know in relation to the topic and their level of interest in improving in relation to this topic. Be sure that the questions are clear and unbiased. Only ask information relevant to the instructional/training session you are planning. For example, if their age does not matter, then do not ask. Also, prepare a 2-3 sentence introduction to include with your survey and a one sentence closing statement.
Types of acceptable questions:
Closed- ended Scale (such as Likert scale)
Strongly agree to strongly disagree
Very favorable to very unfavorable
Excellent to poor
High priority goal to low priority goal

__Football
