Choose a problem that you find interesting or important. and Analyze the issue from a Social Psychological perspective and propose a solution based on your analysis. You should focus on a clearly defined problem, which can be drawn from personal experiences or observations, news reports or current events, films or literature, etc
Whatever issue/problem you identify, be clear and concrete when defining it. For example, "climate change" is not a very good topic. Instead, "recycling behaviors on campus" or "political support for sustainable energy production" would be better. State the problem and explain why it is a problem in. The problem itself is not the main focus of the paper, however. Rather, it should be a paper about how Social Psychology can (a) help one understand a cause of problem, and (b) suggest a solution to the problem.
Focus on applying one Social Psychological principle to the issue with a complex, thoughtful analysis. That is, do not apply dozens of principles in a superficial manner. The best papers will involve a complex application of one principle to deeply understand a problem and potential solution. The solution you propose should follow directly from the cause you describe. That is, do not propose a solution that is unrelated to the cause you describe.
