Introduction:

In this assignment, we will learn how to use decision trees in practice to predict either classes or continuous values (regression trees).

Directions:

Analyze the dataset from Electric Vehicle Population Data
Randomly divide the dataset into two chunks 80% and 20% of records.
Use Python or any other tool to apply the appropriate decision tree method to train a decision tree on a larger part of the dataset.
For the remaining 20% of the records from the remaining smaller part of the dataset use the trained tree model to classify the data. Compare the model's outcome to the actual classes in the testing sample. Calculate the accuracy of the model (number of correctly and incorrectly identified cases in each class).
Provide a step-by-step report describing each step and the result of each process, including the scripts used to create the tree models, and outputs produced by the tool you use.
