Assignment Instructions:

Use the attached Excel spreadsheet to complete the Midterm project. You will need to analyze the data in the spreadsheet and determine functional dependencies. Show your work at each step of 1NF, 2NF, 3NF/BCNF. Also, give a brief explanation of how you broke down each normalization. Once the relations are in BCNF, create a detailed ERD.

After you have your detailed ERD, define the input screens and show the mapping to the fields. Below are 3 Reports. You are to map which fields from which tables are needed in order to create the report.

Report 1 List of Classes by semester and in which building they are taught.

Report 2 List of Classes and which Instructor teaches it.
