The assignment is regarding political aapect of canadian government . The topic of our assignment is French Canada. The whole assignment should revolve around on the the issue of Quebec and canada .
Project:
1. Description and Objective
The student’s projects will enable a group of students to assess and analyze some of the contemporary key features of Canadian politics and their influence on the actual political discourse (within the last 10 years.)
The students will be invited to choose a specific topic, which will be discussed in class, and answer the following questions;
1. How does this key feature translate in the actual political discourse? (i.e. Use a few modern examples of political and or legal actions)
2. How is it affecting the political and social landscape of Canada? (i.e. Describe and explain how this feature is putting pressure on the 3 levels of government and how the latter are reacting to these demands?)
3. What are the positive and the negative outcomes of this feature on the Canadian society? (i.e. Explain and analyze the benefits and shortcomings of this key feature and how they are affecting the society.)
2. Deliverables
a) The findings of each team will be presented, with the help of a multimedia support provided by the students. Students will be responsible for providing the supporting electronic equipment (computer and adapter). The maximum time allowed to present the project collectively will be 10 minutes. After which, time will be reserved for individual questions and discussion with the instructor.
b) A supporting document of a maximum of 6 pages (excluding the cover page, reference list and other appendices) will be presented to the teacher as per the schedule and prior to the presentation to the instructor. The document should be presented in accordance with the standards discussed in class and include a proper cover page with the names of every members of the team along with their student numbers, typed in a numbered pages Word document at double-spaced lines and refer adequately to a minimum of 5 academic sources. The structure will respect the following; introduction, arguments and analysis, conclusion.
