Pick a brand not already covered by one of our classmates that has faced a major crisis recently (e.g., Facebook's consumer lists being used for election manipulation,). Name the brand in the subject line of your posting. In your posting explain the crisis and how the brand dealt with the problem. Also, provide your views: was the crisis dealt with properly? Would you propose a different response? An alternative issue to discuss this week is where a brand faces 'Fake News' that could unfairly damage the brand. Instead of addressing a mistake made by a brand you can discuss an example where a brand was damaged due to 'Fake News" and analyze if the brand's post-damage actions were successful.
