Research question: The effects of video games and the benefits of video games in the health care industry around patients suffering from various diseases.
This assignment actually works as part of your Action Research Project (yes, you can literally copy/paste this into the procedure subsection of your method section/paper - with some editing of course). I want you to write a first draft of the procedure of your study. In this case, it is aproposed procedure. Your submission will be graded based on the description of the procedure for your project. This would include how you'll recruit participants, how you'll collect data, and how you plan to analyze it. As you approach this paragraph, think about what someone would need to know in order to replicate your project without you. It is highly recommended that you read the assigned chapter for this module in your textbook before completing this assignment. For the purpose of discussion and peer feedback, make sure you include your main research question in this post so your peers have the appropriate context.
Part 2: Analytical Approach
By this point in the semester, you should have a good idea about what research question you will be investigating, what kind of data you wish to gather to answer the question, and how you will collect it. With this information in mind, it is now time to start thinking about the best way to analyze that data once it is collected. Indeed, it may feel odd to do this step before you have the actual data, but this is an important step in the proposal/conceptualization process to determine that you have not missed anything before sending your project out for data collection!
For this assignment, you should submit a paragraph explaining your data analytical approach. You will be graded based on the quality of your description, which should include the following:
The type of data you will be gathering (e.g., qualitative, quantitative, survey, interview, etc.)
The program you plan to store and analyze the data (e.g., SPSS, Excel, R, STATA, etc.)
What kind of test will be used to answer your research question? (e.g., Correlation, count, ANOVA, Regression, trend report (qualitative), etc.).
