For this assignment, you will investigate the job titles and skills required for a health data analyst. Prepare a four- to five-page paper in which you:

1. Identify job titles similar to health data analyst that require a health information management or informatics degree.

2. Identify two employment postings and compare and contrast the following attributes of the selected positions:

• Educational requirements (AA, BS, MS, etc.) and indicate required or preferred.

• Skills

• Job tasks

• Job setting (industry, provider, insurance, consulting, etc.)

• Salary range

3. Analyze your strengths and weaknesses for this type of position.

4. Develop an action plan for turning the weaknesses into a strength.

Your paper:

1. Must be four to five double-spaced pages in length, and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.

2. Must include a title page with the following:

• Title of paper

• Student's name

• Course name and number

• Instructor's name

• Date submitted

3. Must begin with an introductory paragraph that has a succinct thesis statement.

4. Must address the topic of the paper with critical thought.

5. Must use at least five scholarly sources, including a minimum of three from the Ashford University Library.

6. Must include a separate reference page, formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.
