Question: Analyze one or two poems from the first half of the course. Evaluate the effectiveness of the poem(s) in relation to one or two sports themes. Be sure to consider form (literary and poetic devices) as well as content. 2. Find quotes from a notable sports figure and arrange them in the form of a free verse poem. Your poem should be approximately 150-170 words. Then write a short essay that explains why you choose quotes from this sports figure, why you arranged the quotes as you did, and how your poem conveys one or more sports themes from our course.
