Literature Review, Proposal and Outline Due Analyze the literature in order to summarize the current state of knowledge on the selected topic.
In a paper of 2-4 pages, your review of the literature should answer the following questions:
What do we know from previous research about the chosen subject, and how do we know it?
What questions remain unanswered about this subject, or in what ways do the existing studies differ or contradict one another?
What are the current best practices in dealing with this particular type of organizational conflict?
Use this material to design training on your chosen area of interest. The training reflects your knowledge gained through the literature review process. Be sure to cite and reference all sources in APA format, avoid plagiarizing from abstracts or other sources, and write at the college level.
Literature Review Rubric is used to assess the grade. Design Proposal and Outline Using the knowledge gained from your review of the literature, create a project proposal that includes these components:
One page of essay plus up to one page for the outline
Topic of training
Why you chose the topic, using the literature to support your reasoning. For example: Is this a common problem in organizations? Is this a problem that is likely to be solved through training (hint: not all problems can be solved through training)
Topic that is narrow enough to address in a two-hour training
For example, you would not title it "Overcoming conflict at work" which is too broad - instead, choose one or two common conflicts at work to address such as "Engaging employees in the organizational mission" or "Reducing workplace bullying" or "Communication strategies for performance reviews"
