Question: a. Introduce the alternative news media you choose and explain the reasons why you think that it is an "alternative" news media. (Hints: referencing the definition of or the issues addressed by the alternative media )

b. Set up a 3-week time frame and look into the news stories covered by the alternative media. Sorting a list of at least 3 major "news agendas" (not news stories) covered within that period of time and briefly describe the news angle of each agenda.

c. Comparative analysis of news coverage: Select 1 news agenda from the list and compare to the same news agenda reported by the mainstream media of your choice during the same time frame. Analyze how the agenda was covered differently by the alternative and the mainstream news media.

If the news agenda was not covered by the mainstream media, express your views on whether or not the news agenda covered by the alternative media is significant.
