Assignment

Please use the Communication-Persuasion Paradigm (Source-Message-Target-Effect) discussed in Chapter 7 to analyze how a message or a person was so effective. Do this for three (3) different instances.

For example, it has been argued that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was very effective in bringing people together. What was it about the source (King himself), the message (the content), and the target (who was listening) that created such an effect.

Begin first by introducing the topic of persuasion and the paradigm.

Then introduce the effect of each case and describe why or how each of the three components contributed to that success.

Then conclude your argument by noting similarities among your examples and that lead ultimately to persuasion.
