Learning Outcome 1: Critically apply advanced skills required in research, analysis, evaluation of complex ideas, information, concepts and/or activities related to finance (PLO4, PLO5, KN1, SK4, AR3, RC1,)
Learning Outcome 2: Synthesize advanced problem-solving skills to analyze highly complex issues with incomplete data and develop innovative solutions and proposals relevant to finance and financial management (PLO4, PLO5, KN2, SK3, AR2, RC2, SD3,).
Learning Outcome 3: Select appropriate research instruments to address domestic factors and drivers in the global context.
Learning Outcome 4: Combine relevant theoretical advances with functional business skills to construct timely and informed decisions.
Assessment Requirement:
Students are required to address the following questions:
1. Demonstrate the critical role of financial ratio analysis as a mean of performance evaluation of business organizations. CLO3
2. Analyze the financial performance of two real estate companies in UAE and propose appropriate recommendations for improvement. CLO4
3. Critically evaluate the financial position of each company to make an investment decision. CLO4
Your Terms of Reference:
a) Make sure that you have carefully read and fully understood the tasks before answering them. Complete the tasks fully but concisely and as directly as possible. Follow all specific instructions for individual questions.
b) The size of the submitted report should be minimum 2000 words including everything in the report except for the cover page. The assignment must be your own work only.
c) The report should be written in font size 12 Times New Roman and with 1.5 spacing between sentences.
d) The report should be typed and clearly laid out.
e) Make sure it is spell/grammar checked.
f) Your report should include:
