In this work, the significance of project quality will be discussed along with some project quality management tools and techniques. In project budgeting phase, there is a cost estimation done to control the expenses being made on the project. Without proper planning and budgeting, the project might not achieve the expected outcomes and objectives (Bobera & Trninic, 2016). This module discussion activity is concerned with the significance of the project quality and its implementation. The selected project is the symposium project where the gold coast city is selected for the annual symposium program.

Many associations make use of quality tools to manage and monitor their project quality initiatives. The most essential thing in project quality is the satisfaction of the customer and the stakeholders of the project. If any of them are felling inconvenient about the project outcome it is evident that the project quality is not up to the mark. In the gold coast city program, the project quality will not come for free and there is a requirement of expenses and efforts to deal with the issues and problems that occur during and after the project. These costs of project quality are usually divided into two parts that are Cost of conformance and Cost of non-conformance.

Here, conformance includes some module activities and processes such as training, documentation, audits and inspections. In these activities, some money is spent that helps to prevent any kind of project failure and to improve the project quality (Kurakova, 2017). Many tools for the project quality management are being used on a high scale nowadays. Some popular tools are Online Gantt charts, Visual task management and Interactive project quality software.

These are some tools organizations use for their project planning and quality management. The national symposium project also requires high-quality project planning and budgeting to get things done without wasting cost, time and resources. The Gold coast is the selected host city for the annual December symposium 2020. The aims of this project are to meet financial criteria, deliver a high-quality program and to offer a social program to reflect on the host city in a good manner. Now a few activities will be considered in the project planning and budgeting phase. These activities include local arrangements, social programs, project team arrangements, technical tracks and some other activities. The technical tracks consist of construction and engineering, automotive, education, defence, software, manufacturing etc (Jamsutkar, et. al., 2012).

To implement project quality in the gold coast city symposium it is essential to analyze current project documents that include challenges, risk, opportunities, stakeholder interests etc. A project management plan can also help to improve project quality. Developing a project charter is also helpful to determine the quality standards that are associated with the success criteria of the project (Jamsutkar, et. al., 2012). Poor project quality can affect the symposium project because these projects are meant to create a good impression among the people who take part in these programs.
