Case Study Topic: Select an alteration of the hematologic system (iron deficiency, megaloblastic, hemolytic, or anemia of chronic disease, thalassemia, sickle cell disease, or a bleeding disorder) and explain the expected alterations in laboratory values seen in patients with this condition.
