Assignment Critical Analysis

Length: 2500 words.

For this task, you are to explore in depth an area of Artificial Intelligence assessment in higher education. This is not a research project that will require you to produce data, but rather the goal is to allow you to become more of an expert in a particular aspect of assessment.

Your paper must do the following:

Introduce and summarise in detail your area of interest. For example, you should begin with an exposition of the main theories and research findings of the area, and any different approaches/controversies. You should focus mostly on the presentation of what is known, rather than developing an argument to defend any particular viewpoint on any particular issue. It is of course fine to argue for a particular position in your paper if you wish but your main focus should be building your knowledge base, presenting evidence and evaluating the facts, not an essay with a thesis that develops a line of argument.

You should base your essay on independent and course readings. You must reference course content and course readings consistently and clearly (if course connections are lacking, your work will be reviewed for academic integrity).
