General Instructions for all "In the News" Assignments - The professor will assign each student to analyze and summarize recent (within the last few months) news articles with an underlying theme of this course's goals and objectives. It's designed to make the material from the textbook come alive.
For each "In the News" assignment, students will be assigned an article to review followed by some instructions regarding how to specifically analyze the article. Each submission should be a minimum (i.e. at least) of 300 (but no more than 700) words long, and it must contain at least two references to substantiate the responses provided. One of the references must be the course textbook. When inserting references and their corresponding citations, students should follow APA format.
