Case Study: You are a Senior Information Officer in a not-for-profit organisation called INFORM where you are responsible for the areas of technology and its application in business. The organisation, which is financed by the Government, was set up to provide help and assistance to small firms. Recently, you have been approached by Mercy Ariyibi who runs a firm of management consultants advising on information technology in business. She is concerned that few of her clients come from small and medium-size firms, yet she believes that they need advice and support. She has asked whether INFORM would be interested in developing material for this sector. You and your Advisory Board agreed to this proposition.
