Analyze an existing company for Operation strategy and one under Supply Chain Strategy

1. Introduction

Guideline

- should be own statement without any references
- Present a scene for the report by giving a little relevant background information ( not about the companies) but about Operation strategy (Toyota) and one under Supply Chain Strategy- try to grab the reader's interest early.

- Clearly explain the aims and objectives of the report and the constraints that might affect the way in which the report is written

- It should summaries the remaining parts of the report in effective giving the reader overview of what is to come

- Don't include any background about the two companies.

- If the report involves the solution of a specific problem or the production of a specific system this should be clearly specified in an informal way.

2. Review of the book / literature

"The report will require a review of previous research. You may have decided to use your reading mainly to support or to reject arguments throughout the report, but the value of the review to the reader is that it explains the context and background of the study. A selection has to be made, and only books and articles which relate directly to the topic should be included. The review, if required, can be written first and, if you have managed to discipline yourself sufficiently well to write up sections and sub-sections as you have completed them.
