Analysis of corrosion mechanisms and preventative measures

Dissimilar and Selective metal corrosion have presented a problem for many decades.

1) Examine a case of dissimilar metal corrosion.

2) And an example of selective or localized attack.

- These can be real life examples or any other situation, or a combination of both. In either case choose simple easily understood examples.

-  Part of each case should be a diagram and description of the"corrosion cell".

-  Explain the difference between selective attack and dissimilar metal corrosion with reference to your diagrams above.
