Those are scholarly academic resources which are peer reviewed, meaning that they have been scrutinised and evaluated by other experts in the same field in order to ensure accuracy and quality of the content, as well as ensuring it adheres to editorial standards.
Please note that sources such as Wikipedia are not suitable references for your assignments. Although you can look at a Wikipedia page and then check the relevant references at the bottom of the page, be very careful to review the quality of these resources.
