Our group is interested in pursuing the food and beverage industry, who are currently dealing with sustainability issues in areas such as sourcing, tracking, marketing and ecological impact. This industry is currently booming and becoming more competitive with sustainability becoming more and more important to consumers.
Due to increased interest and concern with food and beverage sustainability, we believe this an ideal industry to identify an opportunity because it has a broad range of options and its reach to consumers is infinite. This industry also has the ability to partner with global giants, such as Nestle, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, General Mills and many more which will make sustaining the idea/item/service more attainable. Food and beverage companies are constantly expanding and innovating so the possibilities could be limitless.
As a group, we are interested in exploring ideas such as a healthy vending machine or some kind of partnership pairing healthy foods and physical fitness. We have also thought about packaging issues such as waste and reusing materials which we will include in our overall marketing plan.
