Question - You have been appointed as a Chief Risk Officer at Grab in Singapore with immediate effect today. You are tasked to perform an analysis to cover the areas as listed below to prepare a comprehensive report within 1 month from the date of your appointment.

i) To analyse the impacts of COVID- 19 pandemic on the Grab company.

ii) To evaluate the industry 's attractiveness of the Grab company using Porter's five forces.

iii) Identify the types of financial risk/exposures facing the Grab company.

iv) Evaluate the suitability and the effectiveness of the hedging tools used by the Grab company in managing the risks identified by you.

v) Analyse the financial market segmentation of equity market of Singapore and how the segmentation affects the Grab company generally.

vi) Identify the types of technology used by the Grab company (eg. Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Fintech, Blockchain, Internet of Things (IOT), Sensors and Big data) in managing their value/supply chain.

vii) Identify any related issues or problems in the Grab company based on your expertise and capability as Chief Risk Officer.

viii) Identify and illustrate arbitrage opportunities if any by comparing rates given by any THREE (3) banks of your choice for the currency pair (SGD/USD). When performing arbitrage, you need to state the exchange rate for the currencies pair based on a particular date of your choice with evidence as exchange fluctuates daily.

ix) Identify the global impacts of low or negative interest rate on the Grab company.
