Task - Business Processes Review and Benchmark Comparison

This task requires you to select a food service business and observe customer engagement. Collect data from your observations to include a range of customer service principles. Document the processes undertaken by the business using graphical tools (e.g. flowcharts) and document the data using a range of statistical methods.

Once you have determined the statistical data, analyse the customer contact processes and compare these to relevant industry benchmarks and those specific to the locality.

Using this information, outline process improvement strategies and a productivity improvement methodology.
