Case background:

Ford Motor Company has relocated an automotive engineer to China as a vehicle team manager.But it failed.Now the following questions need to be analyzed.

Question1:

Develop and analyse the causes and impact of expatriate failure. This analysis will be based on a critical evaluation of the relevant literature about the theoretical debate on expatriate management, Cross Cultural Management and IHRM;

Question2:

Evaluate the expatriate management practices in the Ford ; This evaluation should consider the expatriate training, reward, performance management, and talent management practices.

Question I would like to ask:

1. How should I critically analyze the reasons for the failure of the assignment?How many angles should we analyze (need to be critical)?
