Case: Imagine you are a member of senior management team in your organization. Your team is dynamic and responsible for strategy development and execution. As the current business environment is demanding and constantly evolving, senior leaders of your organization are considering the need for new skills. They suggest a good learning and development strategy which could incorporate executive training, advanced technology training so that the leadership skills are continually sharpened. In a company with a clear and effective learning and development strategy, senior executives understand that the talent pipeline is secure; and team members can receive appropriate technology and skills training to fulfill their individual roles and at the same time organisation can achieve its goals.
Set yourself up to develop a learning and development strategy for at least one work area or for the whole organization. Engage your team into the design and development process; and after implementing, evaluate effectiveness of the strategy and recommend further improvements [evaluation and recommendation task you will do in Assessment 3].

Examine and review organisational policies and procedures relevant to training and assessment.Analyse impact of this learning and development strategy on your organisation, and consult relevant stakeholders. Analyse and plan requirements for an organisational learning strategy to support organisational strategic and policy requirements.Consider technological and systems requirements for this learning and development strategy.a) Develop consultation and communication processes to support and encourage stakeholders (educators, strategists, learners etc.) into design and development. b) How would you ensure your assessment processes are compliant?Align your learning strategy with human resources department and other learning requirements and plans.Design and finalise your Learning and Development Strategy collaboratively with all relevant stakeholders [please use required resources and tools].Implement your Learning Strategy [show evidence of implementation].
