Task Description: You have been hired post-MBA by Bega Cheese. The head of strategy has asked you to analyse the company's current strategy and formulate at least one new recommendation for growth. Your task is to prepare a professional strategic report in which you:

Analyse and evaluate the company's current strategy.

Bega Cheese recently decided to spend $34 million on a new lactoferrin plant. Based on your strategic analysis, do you agree with this decision? Why or why not?

Make and justify one or more additional growth recommendations for Bega Cheese to consider over the coming three years. Your growth recommendation(s) should be coherent with your strategic analysis of the company.

You can obtain some background information on Bega Cheese in the case attached. However, much has happened in this company since 2012. Strongly recommend you go to their website, where you can review their recent annual reports, as well as a special "Student resources" section that provides more current company information. You may also wish to consult media articles on the company, but remember to reference any external sources you cite.
