Question: Schulich Wholesale (SW) is a well-known reseller of soybean in North America. The company buys products in bulk quantities and resells them to various retailers. Currently, SW operates just a single DC and does not have a private fleet. The logistics team at SW uses 3PL carriers for both inbound and outbound transportation needs. Recently, SW identified soybean has long-term demand in local markets, yet the supply in North America is limited. The company therefore must source the product outside of North America. Company will be sourcing it from Mato Grosso Brazil.

Your group has been hired as consultants to preparE a logistics plan that will highlight the available options and make recommendations for importing the new product to Canada. Your first task is to analyse all feasible transportation options and make recommendations on which one SW should select. Another task is to identify packaging style & how much quantity it should be
