An unknown mass of silver is pulled from a furnace where its temperature was 900C and placed on a very large block of ice at 0.0C. Assuming that all the heat given up with the silver is used to melt 1.3 kg ice and not all the ice melts, what is the mass of thesilver? (Specific heat capacity of silver is 230 J/(kg K).
