An aluminum thin-walled cylinder is 40 mm ID (inner diameter) by 50mm OD (outer diameter) and is subjected to an internal pressure, P. The material has stress allowable of 36x103 psi. Find the maximum allowable, P if a safety factor of 3 is required.

If this cylinder has end cap at the both ends, determine P if a safety factor of 3 is required.
