An adiabatic pump operating at steady state compresses liquid water from an initial condition of 10 bar and 40°C to a final pressure of 120 bar. The mass flow rate of water through the pump is 2 kg/s and actual pump work is 30 kW.

(a) Calculate the exit enthalpy (kJ/kg) of the water.
(b) Calculate the isentropic efficiency (%) of the pump.
