How may another cultural group interpret the American tendency toward punctuality in meetings? How could you be supportive of someone from that group who reacts negatively to that aspect of U.S. culture? Meetings in traditional Latin American society may not start on time. Once they begin, those in attendance may spend quite a bit of time discussing each other's families, the weather or other items before getting to the topic at hand. How may someone from the U.S. interpret this behavior? Think of an aspect of another culture that you do not understand.
