PART A
Reflect upon whether your thinking has changed
Describe what course concepts have impacted you the most personally and how. Evaluate whether you may decide to pursue a career in child psychology, and why. Should you decide not to pursue a career in child psychology, describe how you might use the knowledge attained from this course in your life. Example below
I know of a typical case of a child that has ADHD. In my interaction with the child, she experiences symptoms such as hyperactivity, impulsivity and poor attention even in class. By looking at the child, you may not suspect anything out of the normal, but it is her behavior that shows she really needs help. For Sam, she really has trouble concentrating in even the simplest of tasks at home and school and this has really affected her life. In school, she is treated as a special needs student and she is offered learning materials that can help her learn like other children her age.As I was growing up, I experienced an emotional challenge that affected my life. I may not say it was because of my small physical size at the time, but that could have also contributed to my situation. In several instances, I experienced low motivation because I felt inadequate, and this even affected my learning because I could not focus. Another factor that contributed to my situation was fear of failure because my parents placed very high standards on me because they are professionals, and they value education.
Part A1- Provide responses
Constructive comments are suggestions, recommendations, or questions that provoke fresh considerations. Should you identify something that needs work in a presentation, offer an idea, proposal, or inquiry that prods your students to rethink and/or rebuild.
PART B
Watch video: PSY 314 The Road Back Dramatic Film on Teen Anxiety Depression CC

PART C
Despite all the different methods that psychologists use to gather data and report results, many still consider the field a soft science. Read the article Public Skepticism of Psychology for a description of why psychology might be viewed as a soft science. After reading the article, use information that you have. Discuss specific ideas you have learned that illustrate the soundness of psychological research. Next, discuss how you might apply the skills you have learned to your career and personal life. Discuss how understanding the material will help you in your professional and personal life.
