Question 

A smoke plume, generated by the use of laser and ESU, is an airborne contaminant and can be toxic if inhaled. Which action is a safety measure that can reduce exposure to a smoke plume? Hold the smoke evacuation tube about 6 inches away from the smoke plume. Place the in-line filter between the surgical site and the suction cannister. Use in-line smoke evacuation filters for both small and large amounts of plume. Wear high filtration surgical masks that filter down to 0.1 micron.
