A six cylinder engine runs at 4000 RPM with a compression ratio of 8:1 and a total clearance volume (total for all 6 cylinders) of 600 mL at TDC. The engine intakes atmospheric air at 100 kPA & 20C. The maximum temperature during the cycle is 1500 C. determine the following assuming the engine operates on an air standard Otto cycle with constant specific heats:

The heat supplied per cycle

The thermal efficiency

The POWER output in HP

Note: PV=mRT applies and the net work produced is per cycle.
