The goal here is to think critically about potential mitigation efforts that can be put in place and then practice persuasively defending your solution to your peers. A big part of understanding environmental problems from a scientific perspective is also realizing that we have to evaluate and implement actual solutions. Critical thinking is necessary to recognize potential pitfalls and sort through competing plans to address an issue.
