The words "2024 U-18 Volleyball Tournament", Adidas, Visa, and all combinations of those words are declared to be protected words from 1 November 2023 to 28th February 2024. The Sky Stadium and the surrounding area have been declared a clean zone from 1st to 28th February 2024. Since 2010, Archie has owned a $5 Discount Store called Shadys, which is directly next to Sky Stadium. All items at Shadys cost $5, including cheap sporting goods. Since 2010 Shadys' storefront has displayed the advertisement: "For Best Value Sporting Goods come to Shadys" To keep his costs down, Archie does not offer credit card facilities at Shadys. Require: Refer to Domain Names and Ambush Marketing in New Zealand's Marketing Law. (1) Apply specific provisions of the Major Events Management Act 2007 (MEMA) to advise Archie if he would be liable for ambush marketing by intrusion if he continues to trade and advertise his business (as described above) from 1st to 28th February. (2) On 1 February 2024, Archie paints over the existing advertisement on his storefront and replaces it with "Unofficial Supporter of the 2024 U-18 Volleyball Tournament". On the same day, Archie places the following advertisement in Stuff (a New Zealand-based online newspaper): "$5 cash only at Shadys' discount store. If you're coming to Wellington this month, you'll need to visit Shadys but you won't need a Visa."
