Style - Condition Survey Report

Description:
Students will receive instructions from a client regarding undertaking a professional survey and advise on the fire safety improvement made to the building in order to meet the current statutory requirement (According to Hong Kong's fire safety laws). Student will be given with survey findings (see attached) and individually students are to prepare a professional response to the clients brief in accordance with RICS guidelines.

QUESTION
Information of the site

It consists of two building clusters of tenement buildings in Cheung Sha Wan. The cluster at the junction of Castle Peak Road and Tokin Street comprises No. 217, 219, 221,223, 225, 227, 229, 231, 233 and 235 Castle Peak Road. The other cluster which is separated with a service lane at its rear comprises No. 300, 302, 304, 306, 308 and 308A Un Chau Street.

The schedule of inspection was shown in Appendix A and the condition survey has conducted and with the defects and other irregularities found in the condition survey shown in Appendix B. In addition floor plans are attached for easy reference.
