Case: Lovely spent a lot of holidays with her aunt Golapi when she was a child. However, Lovely has been living in Paris, France, for the last 10 years with Joy, her husband, and their two kids. Golapi is now 90 years old and she no longer wants to live alone, so she asks Lovely to move to Sydney and live with her. Golapi promises Lovely that if Lovely lives with her, she will nominate Lovely as the sole beneficiary of her substantial estate located in Sydney, New South Wales. Lovely and her husband give up their jobs and apartment in Paris and move to Australia to live with Golapi. After living with Golapi for one year, Golapi tells Lovely that she no longer wants her there and that she has written her out of the will. This means Lovely will not get any of the estate of Golapi. Is the agreement between Golapi and Lovely on the former's estate enforceable by a court?
